Clinic Competition

1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions is invalid.
2. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
   WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
3. Entry is open to any Australian or New Zealand citizen or resident that is a current veterinary staff member (including veterinarians, veterinary nurses, veterinary technicians/technologists and support staff) ("Eligible Entrants"). Employees of the Promoter (Royal Canin® New Zealand), the Promoter's associated companies, and the Promoter's agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. "Associated companies" includes, without limitation, the agents and contractors of the Promoter that are involved in: (a) the Promotion or development of the Promotion; and (b) the manufacture or distribution of the Promoter's products.
4. Where an 'Eligible Entrant' has won a prize from a LIVE session, they will become ineligible to enter in the subsequent ON-DEMAND session for the same webinar topic, meaning each Eligible Entrant can only receive one prize for any single topic in the webinar sessions hosted.
5. By entering the Promotion, individuals represent that they are eligible to enter the Promotion based on these Terms and Conditions.
   PROMOTION PERIOD
6. The Promotion Period will be split into two groups: GROUP ONE (06/04/21 to 14/07/21) and GROUP TWO (03/08/21 to 15/12/21). There are four (4) webinars in GROUP ONE and five (5) webinars in GROUP TWO (participants must watch either LIVE or ON-DEMAND) that have been offered, as listed below:
   
   
   1. GROUP ONE – from 06/04/21 to 14/07/21
      
      1. The ABC of Renal Disease & Patient Management LIVE on 6/04/21 and ON-DEMAND from 7/04/21 until 15/04/21.
      2. Common Behavioural Consultations in everyday practice LIVE on 4/05/21 and ON-DEMAND from 5/05/21 until 13/05/21.
      3. What to do when you hear a murmur LIVE on 8/06/21 and ON-DEMAND from 09/06/21 until 17/06/21.
      4. Large Breed Puppy Nutrition: Fact or Fiction LIVE on 6/07/21 and ON-DEMAND from 6/07/21 until 14/07/21.
   2. GROUP TWO – from 03/08/21 to 15/12/21
      
      1. What do dog intestines and cat colons have in common? Not Much! LIVE on 3/08/21 and ON-DEMAND from 4/08/21 until 11/08/21.
      2. To cut, or not to cut: Neutering Pros and Cons LIVE on 7/09/21 and ON-DEMAND) from 8/09/21 until 15/09/21.
      3. Navigating the Hard diagnosis of Urolithiasis LIVE on 5/10/21 and ON-DEMAND) from 6/10/21 until 13/10/21.
      4. Chewing the fat over pet obesity LIVE on 9/11/21 and ON-DEMAND from 10/11/21 until 17/11/21.
      5. Keeping things moving; Mobility disorders and rehabilitation LIVE on 7/12/21 ON-DEMAND from 8/12/21 until 15/12/21.
   HOW TO ENTER
7. To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period for each group of webinar events (GROUP ONE or GROUP TWO), view the webinar in one of the formats (LIVE or ON-DEMAND) in its entirety, and complete, in full, the post-event survey at the closing of the webinar delivery.
8. GROUP ONE must watch three (3) of four (4) webinars, and complete three (3) post-event surveys to constitute a "Qualifying Entry". GROUP TWO must watch four (4) of five (5) webinars, and complete four (4) post-event surveys to constitute a "Qualifying Entry". Entrants will only receive one (1) entry into each Prize Draw.
   PRIZE DRAW & PRIZES
9. A random prize draw will be conducted at 12 noon AEST/AEDT (as applicable in Melbourne) on 19/07/21 (for GROUP ONE) and on 20/12/21 (for GROUP TWO) ("Prize Draw") at Plexus, Level 4, 411 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 ("Draw Location") to determine the winners ("Winners").
10. Winners will be published at https://www.promos.royalcanin.co.nz/vets/webinar-competition for New Zealand and https://promos.royalcanin.com.au/vets/webinar-competition for Australia within one week of the draw.
11. There will be a total of ten (10) winners drawn over the entirety of the Promotion (inclusive of GROUP ONE and GROUP TWO); five (5) winners will be drawn from GROUP ONE and five (5) winners will be drawn from GROUP TWO.
12. Each Prize Draw will have one (1) major prize winner, who will win $500 personal credit ($500 AUD or $500 NZD, depending on the winner's place of residence) to be used directly towards a CPD course or product, and, four (4) secondary prize winners, who will each win one (1) $50 Prezzy Card ($50 AUD or $50 NZD, depending on the winner's place of residence) and one (1) bag of dry dog OR dry cat food (as selected by the Winner), to a maximum value of $205 NZD or $220 AUD.
13. The eight (8) secondary prize winners drawn (four from GROUP ONE and four from GROUP TWO) will be split equally between Australia and New Zealand, with four (4) drawn from Eligible Entrants in each country, two (2) from New Zealand and two (2) from Australia in the GROUP ONE draw and two (2) from New Zealand and two (2) from Australia in the GROUP TWO draw.
14. Entrants are restricted to winning only one prize per Draw. If a winner is drawn for any additional prize/s, the prize/s will be forfeited, a further Prize Draw will be conducted, and the prize will be allocated to a new winner.
15. Major prize winners must obtain approval from Royal Canin® to book a CPD course or purchase a CPD product prior to making their purchase, and invoice the Promoter for the value of their prize:
    
    
    1. GROUP ONE must purchase before 5pm NZT (2pm AEST) on 27th August 2021
    2. GROUP TWO must purchase after 8am NZT (6am AEDT) on the 4th January 2022 (due to the Christmas shutdown period) BUT before 5pm NZT (3pm AEDT) on 18th February 2022.
16. To redeem their Prezzy Card and pet food Prize, secondary prize winners will be contacted to obtain delivery address details for posting of the Prize and to confirm the appropriate diet and pet food required.
    WINNER NOTIFICATIONS
17. Winners will be contacted directly by a Royal Canin© Company Representative using the phone number and/or email provided upon enrolling into the specific webinar event, within 10 business days after the Prize Draw has occurred.
18. Royal Canin® is not responsible if a winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect or out of date contact details being recorded into the Go2Webinar© Hosting Platform used for enrolling into the specific webinar event by the Eligible Entrant, and any such winner will forfeit the prize to the next eligible winner, on these Terms and Conditions.
    RE-DRAW (IF REQUIRED)
19. If a winner is unable to be contacted by phone, or does not respond to the Prize notification email, a re-draw will be conducted at the same time and place as the original draw on 19/08/21 (for GROUP ONE) and 20/01/22 (for GROUP TWO) from all remaining Eligible Entries received during the Promotion Period.
20. The re-draw winner/s (if any) will be notified via email and/or by phone within three (3) business days after the Re-Draw Prize Draw occurred. Any winners will be published at https://www.promos.royalcanin.co.nz/vets/webinar-competition for New Zealand and https://promos.royalcanin.com.au/vets/webinar-competition for Australia within one week of the draw.
    GENERAL
21. The total value of all prizes to be awarded in the Promotion is NZD $3,040 / AUD $3,160 which includes: two (2) x CPD prizes of NZD $500 / AUD $500; eight (8) Prezzy Cards of NZD $50 / AUD $50 each; eight (8) x dry pet food up to the value of RRP NZD $205 each / AUD $220 each. Pet food is dependent on the appropriate diet, following discussion with Royal Canin. These values are RRP/including GST.
22. The prizes must be taken as stated and may not be varied. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
23. All costs associated or arising in connection with redeeming prizes are the responsibility of the respective prize winners.
24. The Promoter, the Promoter's related entities and all agencies associated with the promotion are not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the cost of replacing the prize won.
25. If more than one (1) person attempts to claim a prize, the Promoter has sole and absolute discretion to determine which of those persons is the winning entrant.
26. The Promoter may collect your personal information directly or through its agents, contractors or hosting platform (Go2Webinar©). The Promoter will use your personal information to conduct and manage the Promotion. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to its related companies, agents and contractors to assist in conducting this competition, communicating with you or storing data. This may include disclosures to organisations located in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States. Our privacy policy at https://www.mars.com/privacy-policy contains information about: a) how you may access the personal information that is held by us and seek correction of such information; and b) how you can make a complaint.
27. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet these Terms and Conditions and/or any person who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, including but not limited to the utilisation of techniques designed for making multiple entries, or for submitting an entry that is otherwise not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By providing your entry you consent to the Promoter using your personal information to determine whether any tampering or attempted tampering with the entry process has occurred.
28. The Promoter's decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Portal ("the Vet Portal") offers registered Veterinary Clinics ("clinics") access to the latest information and advice about pet health, nutrition and our latest promotions and events. Clinics will be issued an account where they can maintain and access their account. By registering you are accepting the terms and conditions set out below as well as our Privacy & Copyright terms.

1. ROYAL CANIN® (Royal Canin, we, us or our) collects your personal information via this form to validate your registration into the Vet Portal. We collect and use this personal information to send you marketing communications about our brands, products and/or services. We may also use the personal information you give us for any other purpose of the Vet Portal, including to provide prizes, for consumer care and research purposes, and for other purposes, including as described in our privacy policy. By registering for the Vet Portal, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information in this manner.
2. We may disclose your personal information to our related bodies corporate, to our vendors or service providers, or to other third parties for the purposes of the Vet Portal. These companies may be based overseas, including in France. We require these companies to comply with the New Zealand privacy laws that apply to your personal information.

Supplemental Terms & Conditions for the Royal Canin Veterinary Portal

The Royal Canin Veterinary Portal allows veterinarians and veterinary team members to access tools, applications, and other materials to help you manage your business. These include, for example, technical documents and marketing materials. These supplemental Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this portal and incorporate the Royal Canin Terms & Conditions. For the purposes of the Terms & Conditions, 'Site' includes the Royal Canin Veterinary Portal and any micro-sites contained within the portal.

By accessing, browsing, or registering for an account on the Royal Canin Veterinary Portal you accept, without limitation, the Terms & Conditions and these supplemental Terms & Conditions.

Eligibility

The Royal Canin Veterinary Portal is intended for authorised users only. Authorised users include veterinarians, veterinary team members and other qualified persons approved by Royal Canin. Royal Canin may refuse to grant authorisation to any person and for any reason.

Client Enrolment Obligations

If you register to create an account on the Royal Canin Veterinary Portal, you may be permitted to access certain features and applications. Some applications enable you to enrol your clients in Royal Canin supporting programs, such as Dermatology Month. You agree that you will only enrol clients that consent to registration in the specified Royal Canin program and that provide their information to you for the purposes of registering for the specified program. You agree that the client information entered will be true, accurate, current and complete. You will disclose to client's that you are providing information to Royal Canin for use in the Royal Canin supporting program and that this information will be used for the purposes of the program in accordance with Royal Canin's Privacy Policy.

Medical, Health and Fitness Information

The Royal Canin Veterinary Portal contains information relating to various medical, health, and fitness conditions of pets and their treatment. As the Attending / Primary Care clinician, you are responsible for the patient's (pet's) diagnosis and therapeutic regime. As the consultant, Royal Canin New Zealand assumes no liability or responsibility to you or your patients in respect of your professional judgment or recommendations.
