Surface cytology is vital for successful and satisfying management of skin diseases, yet is often underutilised by practitioners. In this webinar Philippa will cover the techniques associated with sample collection and preparation for investigation of inflammatory, infectious & parasitic ear & skin diseases, as well as interpretation of these samples.
Philippa graduated with a BVSc in 2004 from the University of Sydney in 2004. After spending several years in small animal general practice in Sydney, she undertook a residency in Veterinary Dermatology at the University of Sydney in 2012. She has since been working in the dermatology department at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH), also in Sydney. She was recently recognised as a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Dermatology.
